We would like to be Your Africa Connection. YourAfricaConnection.com is about uplifting people and reaching back to help others. After visiting Africa and getting to know some of the people there, we decided to  launch this site in the summer of 2021. The idea is that we can help many individual and small business owners by providing high quality, hand crafted products directly to you, and in turn ensure an income for them.

Our aim is to provide the handcrafters represented here, and those who join in the future, with up to 75% of the cost of the item(s) purchased for products you would really enjoy.

 

The items that you purchase will be delivered to your door within three to four weeks from the time of purchase. The more volume we ship each month, the lower will be the overall cost of these unique handcrafted products.  So please spread the word about YourAfricaConnection.com to others. 

 

We look forward to sending you high quality handcrafted products: clothing, wood carvings, stone carvings, handbags, backpacks, antiques, jewelry, paintings, tableware, etc. Each artist/handcrafter has their own special touch; no two items are exactly the same and may be a little different from the picture that you see.

We have partnered with Operation ReachBack, Inc, Portland, Oregon Chapter in their Africa Initiative, https://www.operationreachback.com/chapters/portland-oregon-chapter where they too have reached back to help the Living Testimony Organization (LTO) directed by Elijah Katama, the organization that supports and educates children orphaned by HIV/AIDS. Through the sale of African handcrafts and other donations, Operation ReachBack, Inc has helped to finance a water well project in eastern Kenya in the same village as LTO. One of our collections, Elijah Katama, is used to support LTO and the artists involved with that collection.
